Nathaniel celebrated a big birthday in April! Not only was this his first birthday in Texas, it was also the beginning of his teenage years, and the end of his brain. Just kidding, kinda, well not really. We all agree that something comes over boys this age . . . even Nate admits it. Not that we don't thoroughly enjoy him, nor is he rebellious and ugly like the world portrays teenagers. He just doesn't seem to remember things as well as he used to. That reminds me. . . "Nate feed the dog!"
We celebrated as a family on his actual birthday. As you can see, Nathaniel is growing up to be a handsome and TALL young man. He did really well with his school work this year and we are so proud of him. Of all the kids, Nathaniel took our move the hardest but he has pushed through the pain and made some awesome friends while also nurturing great relationships with his friends still in Phoenix.
Here are a few of the friends he has made in San Antonio. Robert, Jacob and Jackson came over to celebrate Nate's birthday with Pizza, video games, basketball and even a trip to the pool in the freezing cold.
They took a quick plunge but did not stay in very long. We'll call it a polar plunge.
