Emma's Birthday

I can't believe it. . . we asked her not to. . . but she went ahead and did it.  Emma turned 6 in May! We tried bribing and threatening, but to no avail.  She's no longer our sweet little 5 year old.  Now she's our sweet big 6 year old!  Emma brings so much joy (and drama) to our home.  We love her so much!

Emma had some fun requests for her birthday this year.  She really wanted some pink Leggos, which her brothers were more than happy to get her, and help her build.

She wanted Lemon cupcakes with sprinkles on top. I made white cake with chocolate frosting too just in case she didn't like the lemon. Good call, Mommy.

 She had also been asking for a Dream Lite since Christmas.  We tried back then to see if we ignored it long enough, the desire would go away because she needs another stuffed animal like she needs a snow shovel.  But alas, the dream did not die. Nothing says, "I'm a six year old girly girl" like a rainbow colored unicorn dream lite. 

And more fancy dress up shoes!!!
