We have been enjoying our new hometown this Spring! It is so beautiful outside and the trees are getting green again and there are wild flowers everywhere! We did some exploring out at the Natural Bridge Caverns near New Braunfels. They have a huge rope course out there that the boys had a blast climbing (with harnesses of course).
There's Caleb just right of center
Nathaniel, boldly walking the course!
Even Emma and Will got to do a little course of their own.
The Natural Bridge is behind them and to the left is the entrance to the caverns.
Caleb made William's day by making a Darth Maul sword and fighting him in the back yard!
We have been loving our homeschool group at church. We have themed meetings once a month. This picture is from our February meeting where we celebrated Robert E. Lee Day! Nate was not real happy about dressing up but he played along. William took his life in his hands showing up in Blue but he's so cute no one could bare to throw him out! Emma didn't have a Southern Belle outfit so she went with Little House on the Prairie. Look how happy Caleb is that he has outgrown all the dress up stuff!Caleb and Nate made disc tree swings. One for our kids and one to sell. They did their research and bought a drill and found the right rope and how to tie the knots and painted the disc. It was a great project for them and Emma is thrilled! Again. . . TREES!
Grandma and Gramps visited just before Easter. We had a great time! We visited the Alamo, Fredericksburg, New Braunfels and Grandma and I even got to go to the mall! We celebrated Caleb's 15th birthday while they were here as well. I can't believe how time is flying!!
