Easter and Nathaniel's Birthday

Happy Ressurection Day! We had a wonderful celebration of Christ's Ressurection this weekend.  Kevin and I did a very wise thing and gave the kids their Easter baskets on Saturday morning.  They were free to play and be silly to their hearts content and I didn't have to start nagging them to get dressed and ready cause we are out the door in 30 minutes!  We had a fun and relaxing day preparing for Sunday's celebrations.  Yes there is an "s" on the end of celebration.  Because this year Easter fell the day before Nathaniel's birthday.  We were already having the family here for Easter so we just switched gears at dessert time and called it a Happy Birthday too.  It worked very well.  We had a lovely dinner, my littles napped, more family arrived and the birthday began.

We are so thankful for our Nathaniel boy.  He is such an active and fun little man.  He brings us great joy.  Without him our home would be much more calm and quiet and BORING! We are praying that he continues to love Jesus with all his heart and love others as himself.  Tomorrow he gets to have a special playtime with his 2 closest friends and his brother.  Kevin will take them to the community center to play basketball and rock climb.  I will take a nap!
