TeenPact

Caleb and Nathaniel attended Teen Pact this year which is an awesome experience down at the AZ State Capitol. They did the one day class this year (for 8+ year olds). There is a 4 day class for 13+ year olds. They learned about government from a christian perspective, how a bill becomes a law, and public speaking. They had tons of fun too! My favorite part was the prayer walk where we wandered the capitol campus stopping at certain places to pray for specific things like our soldiers past and present, our liberty, our senators and representatives and even the janitors and security guards. It was a beautiful thing. We are so thankful that we live in a country where we can publicly pray and proclaim Jesus even at the capitol. Caleb liked the mock legislature where they acted out bills becoming law even down to the proper way to speak in a setting like that. Nathaniel liked the scavenger hunt all over the campus and the way the lobbyists bribed him with candy ;) They do this in many different states, I'd recommend it to everyone!
